About Me

I’m Kirsty and I am SO glad you’re here.

Here are the five things you need to know about me:

1) I’m a mama to two rainbow babies, funnily enough, they represent both ends of the spectrum that is my personality! One is a quirky and sensitive soul, whereas the other is strong willed and fierce. My experience of becoming a mother 6 years ago led me to train as a Postpartum Doula.

2) I live off-grid in a tiny house on 21 acres of forest in the Dandenong Ranges. Before that the four of us (and Lulu our dog) lived in a large 4 bedroom family home. The lifestyle change to living with less has been the best thing for our family.

3) I was born in England and I met my Aussie husband, Aron in a Walkabout Pub when I was 18 and moved here soon after. My strength of accent does come and go depending on who I am with!

4) I fell in love with organising 5 years ago when my son was a toddler. I’d started to notice that visual clutter and disorganisation was making my brain feel that way too. So I began with styling and organising his playroom, next his bedroom, and then the whole house, sharing my results in local groups. And the response was, you should do this for a living. So I did!

5) I recently discovered I’m neurodiverse, after being diagnosed with ADHD my whole world finally made a little more sense. Because of my lived experience with all areas of mental health, I am also a passionate advocate and hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate.

If you love a long and in-depth read, here is a bit more about me!

If you are here, it likely means somebody sent you here. That’s usually how it goes. I work with someone, and they tell the people around them how incredible it feels to have all this extra space in their life.

Notice I say life, and not just ‘home’? This is about more than just moving things around in rooms. It’s about more than clearing out the ‘stuff’ from your house, so you have more space. It’s about creating space to live, to breathe.. and to love.

Home is where the heart is right? What that means to me is, home is where we love. It’s where we spend time with our absolute favourite people. It’s where we connect with them and where so many of our most treasured memories are made. Family is everything to me. I got into this work because of my love for families and my passion to help them to live and to love together in ways that feel nourishing and enriching.

I’m proud to say that I’m good at what I do. And I’m even more proud to say that I always keep getting better. As a serial learner, I have undertaken lots of training that informs the methods I use in my work. I recently studied as a postpartum doula, so that I can extend my role to include preparing for bub’s arrival, and creating systems to support a really beautiful ‘baby bubble’ for the newly-grown family.

Currently, my focus is on supporting families to create systems and spaces that flow and work to generate ease and simplicity. Typically that involves mamas and their playrooms, bedrooms, pantries and storage areas. There is nothing quite like the sense of relief and joy on the face of a mama that now has a simple ‘drop zone’ to manage the ‘getting out the door’ rush. Sometimes it takes a stranger to walk into your home and see where some simple shifts can make the world of difference.

Though I promise you, we won’t be strangers for long. Together we will dive deep into your home and how you want things to be. We will figure out your flow, and you’ll be supported every step of the way. Click here to check out some of the ways we can work together.

I look forward to it.
